MAGGIORI INFORMAZIONI SU STACKLAB
STACKLAB is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary art + design studio, founded by Jeffrey Forrest in 2013. The studio has two divisions:
OBJECT has an award-winning, growing line of furniture and art objects. They are the product of extensive experimentation in material and fabrication technique. The Object portfolio is sold internationally as a collection of Limited Editions and Made-to-Order series through established dealers.
PROJECT is an award-winning design practice focused on architecture, interior design and installations. Distinguished by their purposeful design and enduring quality, STACKLAB projects are the result of materials research and a critical approach to form.
“STACKLAB’s varied portfolio of furniture, art objects, installations and architecture reflects our belief that beauty is the product of rationale. We define rationale as a synthesis of story through process, material and function.
From within our design studio, and in collaboration with our network of local fabricators and artisans, we endeavor to identify and explore relevant fields of inquiry. We experiment with materials and develop new, proprietary ways to shape and organize them. Often, these innovative methods upcycle or creatively reuse what were considered waste or unwanted products.
Our primary goal is to challenge established preconceptions about form through critical analysis, experimentation and design.”
- Jeffrey Forrest
Founder and Creative Director
