Susanna Antico studied Architecture in Gent, Belgium, completing her studies in New York, where she worked for four years from 1985 to 1989. She returned to Italy in 1990 and opened her own practice. She worked alongside Marco Marini from 1992 to 1997, specializing in lighting design. She has many indoor and outdoor architectural lighting projects to her credit, with a marked preference for the development of lighting master plans. A passion which is evidently repaid as she recently won the public competitions for lighting both Antwerp and Bruges.
Susanna Antico is an active member of the Professional Lighting Designers’ Association (PLDA).
