Blankets are something we have got used to laying carefully over the sofa’s armrest, but with this piece the blanket gets to spread out over the entire surface of the furniture. This playful role reversal gives the furniture an entirely unique identity, an identity which is further strengthened by the edge of the blanket having welt piping made of the same fabric as the sofa or from leather. Blanket is a move away from rigid formality towards something that is welcoming and comfortable. For the colour of the main body, you can choose between black-stained, white-stained or clear-stained oak.
Frame of solid wood and compression moulded plywood in oak veneer, with clear laquer, white or black stain. Seat and back quilted in criss-cross pattern. Fabrics/Leather below are recommended for this product. For other requests, please contact our sales support.

Profile Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren are the members of the Swedish design group Front. Their works are based on common discussions, explorations and experiments and they collaborate in all projects from initial ideas to the final product. Front’s design objects often communicate a story to the observer about the design process, about the material it is made of or about conventions within the design field. In their work they have assigned part of the making of design to animals, computers or machines. They have made a constantly changing interior, created objects with explosions, robotic furniture and a range of furniture inspired by their fascination with magic.
