Concetto
Torro is the new allround saddle-chair for the office. As seating or a mobile companion in the cross office, it offers the user a variety of features. It is made of polyurethane and has a soft surface that is pleasant to touch and offers high stability. In addition, Torro places a strong emphasis on design and colours in the office.
Torro can be stored in the torro-station to save space. The station can also be used as a useful bench and in combination with torro a flexible seating group. Torro is designed using the „saddleprinciple“ which enables a balanced and active posture for the user.

Martin Ballendat

Martin Ballendat has enjoyed international success as a designer for decades. Born in Bochum, Germany, in 1958, he completed his studies in design at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. With his studio, Design Ballendat, he works for numerous prestigious brands. After three years of employment with office furniture manufacturer Sedus, he took over as head of design and product development at Wiesner Hager in Austria. He opened his own studio in Upper Austria in 1995, which was soon to be followed by a second one in Germany. Martin Ballendat has been awarded over 100 design prizes and awards. He has been working as a lecturer and guest professor at design schools for more than 15 years.
