An Alpine Wellness Feeling in the new large Format

The Kurfürstendamm in front of the house and the Alps at the back – not even Steuler-Fliesen can realize that. But MONTAGNE creates the alpine feeling everywhere, even in the city. Development director, Paul Wieser, explains the idea behind it: “Our working environment is often surrounded by technology – therefore a natural surrounding has gained a high importance in our private environment.” Especially in the wellness and gastronomy sectors a furnishing style has emerged which combines homely Alpine elements with modern ambience. This is exactly what MONTAGNE embodies.

The line combines all the surfaces which are typical for the Alpine region: wood, hide and horn. Thereby the black and white basic tiles are kept modern-combined with hide and horn tiles the desired warmth arises. The highlights of the line are the stylized antlers which are available as an inlay.

MONTAGNE is not only new and different regarding the visual effects, but also because of the format. With a size of 33 x 80 cm MONTAGNE is presently Steuler’s biggest tile and can be laid horizontally or vertically. Concerning this decision, Paul Wieser recommends: “Laying tiles horizontally has reached its zenith; vertically is the future of tomorrow. “

To complete the whole effect and create the Alpine chic, Steuler has also matching floor tiles in SONO (black, white, brown and beige).
