The Ned Ludd is located in the heart of Nottingham and is famed for offering over 100 gins, great craft beers and locally sourced great British food. This family owned venue has a contemporary yet homely décor but the bar and some other details desperately needed some cosmetic updates.
Owners Adam and Amanda also wanted to ensure that the main surfaces and touch points of the pub were easy to clean and disinfect.

The bar refurbishment concept was designed to use the metallic cross hairline pattern, VM-1694 on all vertical surfaces, complemented by the Sand based copper pattern, PC-1178 on the horizontal surfaces.

A ‘WOW factor’ result without breaking the bank

Adam and Amanda inherited a run-down pub and wanted to revive it with their own style of industrial chic, however they had been at a loss as to how to address the bar, tables and other flat surfaces. They were structurally sound but didn’t reflect their chosen style. They needed a durable, cost effective and stylish solution.

The result is a resilient and stylish finish that was installed almost overnight and for a fraction of the cost or environmental impact of replacement.

By applying the patterns to surfaces across all areas of the pub, not only has it refurbished previously tired items, but helped to deliver a cohesive design theme.
