A few steps away from the Opéra Comique, the Hotel Saint-Marc opens its doors to a universe conceived by DIMORESTUDIO, the Milan based studio owned by Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci. Hotel Saint Marc, once the home of the Duke of Choiseul, is a historical building dating back to 1791. Used as the headquarters of the newspaper "Le National" founded by Adolphe Thiers, on July 27th 1830 it was scene which triggered the July Revolution.
In the twentieth century, it hosted the famous Italian restaurant Le Poccardi and later became an office building. Purchased in 2013 by Nadia Murano and Denis Nourry, owners of the Hôtel du Petit Moulin designed by Christian Lacroix in 2005. They involved DIMRESTUDIO’s Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci, as they wished to preserve the legacy of its history, as well as allowing the co-existence of past and present through the use of iconic objects designed by the Masters of Design, combined with recovered pieces and new custom-made items.
The Hôtel Saint-Marc has 25 rooms between 20 and 40 square meters, and a 56 square meters suite. Designed as private apartments, the guests experience unique moments of luxury and comfort. Six different decors, colors and fabrics, ranging from yellow mustard, to red burgundy, green forest and blue sky are the backdrop to art and decorative objects, designed by artisans in Murano.
