Poilâne is renowned for its baked goods, which have had a dedicated following in France since 1932. And now, Apollonia Poilâne has opened the first Cuisine de Bar outside Paris as a supplement to the family bakery.

The informal restaurant is located in Cadogan Gardens in Chelsea, just a stone’s throw from the Saatchi Gallery. Wide planks in Dinesen Douglas are a key ingredient in the simple and clean room with its vibrant atmosphere. Here, attention has been given to every tiny detail in both the interior design and the cooking, and delicious tarts and tartines are served on hand-made tables made in Dinesen Douglas and Dinesen HeartOak®.

The tasteful mix of French baked goods and Danish design in the heart of London has secured Cuisine de Bar a nomination for the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, which are supported by RIBA.
