Reside in fine Hamburg style
The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in new splendour
A snow-white façade, a green roof and inviting flags - with its imposing building the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten ranks among the most appealing landmarks of the city of Hamburg. Ever since 1887 the elegant five star hotel has pampered its guests with the sophisticated luxury of a truly grand hotel.
True grandeur as a vocation
Firmly anchored in the tradition of European top hotel business, the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten knows how to unite spectacular flair and excellent service to provide its guests with an unforgettable experience. The irresistible charm of the institution captured the hearts of early celebrities like Prince Heinrich von Preußen or Maria Callas, and still allows every visitor to feel they have returned home after a long journey. Instead of superficial pomp, the guest is pampered by the greatest comfort manifested in every little detail - from the exquisite mate- rials used for the furnishings to the high standards of service that allow even extraordinary wishes and preferences to be effortlessly fulfilled.
Sensitive facelift for a timeless beauty
“We are a traditional hotel, but not old-fashioned. We are a grand hotel, but not outmoded,” explains Managing Director Ingo C. Peters. In line with this credo all the 156 guest rooms and suites of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten have been renovated in turn. To comply with the high standards of the hotel, the interior designers have used only products of the highest quality for refurbishing the rooms. For instance, the handmade upholstered furniture is the result of individual custom-made manufacture by BW Bielefelder Werkstätten.
Harmony down to the last detail
Just like the façade of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, its interior design also shines with subtle elegance. In terms of colours, the guest rooms and suites are partly classic, partly modern, smartly varying the basic tones blue, red, kiwi, lilac, blackberry and grey-gold. The desig- ners found the right palette to create the finely nuanced furnishings of the rooms in the multifaceted creations of the JAB ANSTOETZ Group with subsidiaries JAB ANSTOETZ Furnishing Fabrics, Soleil Bleu and Chivasso. Precious silk fabrics were selected for the windowdecorations and lavish borders fashioned. These were combined with upholstered bed heads of high-class velvet and lavishly worked bedspreads, complemented by coordinated cushions to create a harmonious ensemble. The textile masterpieces were manufactured by the JAB ANSTOETZ Atelier, which also supported the designers with know-how and a sure instinct in the implementation of their sophisticated concept.
