Specialized in breeding and dressage, the Haras de la Gesse required eighteen months of large-scale architectural work, coupled with significant environmental reflection.
For this professional private stud, which did not exist and was therefore built on a virgin vineyard, important infrastructures were created: roads, quarry, walker, indoor and outdoor stables, laboratories and a state-of-the-art breeding clinic.
The building itself consists of a spectacular wooden frame with a zinc roof, equipped with high-tech equestrian facilities. The grandstand, riding arena and reception rooms are inspired by the most beautiful royal stables in France.
Passionate about horse riding, the owner practices in this unusual place a purebred breeding destined to compete in the greatest equestrian competitions in the world. The Haras de la Gesse was crowned best French breeder at the French Championships in 2015 and 2016.
