Building on previous successful designs with Murano glassmaker AV Mazzega, Nigel Coates created this striking contemporary feature lamp. Six clear stamens and a mass of pointed, elongated petals hang from the inverted chassis of a traditional Venetian chandelier. Unlike candles, the Spiky’s halogen lamps are completely at home mounted upside-down, thus creating a great atmospheric downlighting effect. Two colour combinations are available; crystal and white or crystal and black.
