The floor lamp Plié is a fascinating visual experience and enriches modern living spaces in a subtle way. Inspired by traditional japanese paper lamps, Plié is playing with the lightness of the material and its static construction. The lampshade is made up of a single sheet of paper and its structure is supported by folding and fixing.
The light being filtered through the paper lamp airs atmospheric warmth that positively affects every space. The crystalline form and its proportions give the floor lamp a contemporary and individual character.
The floor lamp Plié is available in three different sizes and is to be assembled by the user itself, following a manual. All the lamp parts come in a flat package. The lamp stand consists of sticked together plywood plates. The shade is made out of a pre-folded rectangular paper sheet. The folding structure is the basic design feature of the lamp. By being folded and fitted on the stand the shade has been brought to its shape and becomes a stable and stiff construction.
Because of its sustainable materials and its energy-saving source of light this floor lamp is an ecological product.
