Living Divani

The project aim is the redesign of a retail space which became a redesign of the whole context.
The shop, viewed from the road, stands like a urban landmark.
A luminous tape runs through the space from the ground floor level to top, along both vertical or orizontal dimensions.
This tape reveals spaces, shapes, volume and at the end the whole architecture.
The project design worked on opposite themes such like the light and blank masses. The design produced geometric figures that stands out as monoliths or as light structures that challenge gravity force.
The artificial light of the white tape keeps things together and make them changing in different coloured shadows with a RGB system. The whole scene changes with the light change, offering everytime a different perception both from the outside as for the inner space, even when the shop is closed.
