As a revitalization of a former industrial estate in the heart of Budapest, Millenáris Széllkapu park was a complex public space development project on an urban scale. We were highly involved in the design of the city's new public park, and our furniture became defining elements of it.
The park features 4 types of our concrete products, which evolved with the plans. We developed the TRINK drinking fountain family and the MILLI retaining seat wall system in accordance with the visions of the designers and the needs of a modern urban area. For the pavement fountain in the park, we produced illuminated concrete slabs with animal-patterned concrete graphics and water and steam nozzles.
The project managed to fulfil the aesthetical and conceptual requirements. Thousands of people use the park every day as it created a pleasant and quiet area in a busy part of the city.
