×Many of the best toys consist of modular pieces that can be arranged in almost limitless ways. Most of us can recall building castles, animals or racetracks from colourful bricks or simple components. The freedom these toys offer fires the imagination and allows creative minds to express themselves.
Modularity is also a desirable quality in other products, providing opportunities for personal expression. Like all the best modular designs, Alphabet’s latest lighting system TAF24 offers a huge range of aesthetic and functional possibilities. It can be customised to fit any room and provides a versatile option for lighting offices, libraries, display units or other interior spaces.

×TAF24 is a minimal, modular system featuring simple tubes that can be specified with strip lighting or integrated spotlights. The extruded aluminium tubes have a diameter of just 24mm and come in several lengths. By choosing from different colours, shapes and light sources, architects, designers and planners can build bespoke illuminated installations.
The TAF24 units are suitable for suspension, wall mounting or spanning spaces between walls. Corner sections allow the tubes to form right angles in any direction, so the system can go round corners or be used to create sculptural shapes. They can even switch between horizontal and vertical configurations to add height and drama. With so many options to choose from, designers can unleash their own creativity and create lighting systems that are both functional and decorative.
