An incredible collection inspired by the celestial bodies of the Universe. Rare crystals and minerals that become gates to other worlds. Infinity Gems is an exciting interstellar journey through space-time and design.

×To mark its debut at the famous Salone del Mobile furniture fair in Milan this year, Tecnografica has launched Infinity Gems, a new capsule collection of cosmically inspired wall panels for 2019. Named after celestial phenomena and objects, the designs in the Infinity Gems collection present a striking reimagining of natural stone, printed in high-resolution on Tecnografica’s ultra-thin, large-format panels.
Launched at Milan’s Salone del Mobile fair, the collection features bold, heavily saturated colours and fine details realised in high-resolution using digital printing

×Unexpected patterns and colours created by crystals and minerals swirl and billow across each panel, echoing the images of star systems captured by the world’s leading space agencies. 'Stones that were forged in the darkness for millennia are released out into the open, thanks to the incredible high-resolution of digital printing,' said Tecnografica’s Head of Sales and Marketing, Stefano Lamberti.
Each of the designs takes its name from a different cosmic entity, like the Milky Way – a black-and-white print that creates a striking effect when backlit using Tecnografica’s new Dècora LED luminous panels

×The Milky Way design features a black-and-white pattern of shards, suggesting a stellar constellation, while the Hyperion and Supernova designs recall massive galactic gas clouds. Alpha-Centauri showcases a spidery, alien-like arrangement of green, blue, cream and ochre and Andromeda reimagines the layers of a geode as a huge star system. 'The subjects that define the Infinity Gems Collection are not decorative panels,' said Lamberti. 'They are gates, each one open on a different and unknown point in this or another universe.’
All of the designs can be mounted using Tecnografica’s existing framing modules, as well as the new Dècora LED system – a thin, frameless support with integrated LED backlighting.
