Well-rounded: Bette

By combining just a few elements together and applying great formal simplicity, Bette, with the creation of their BetteCraft wash basin bowl, has succeeded in bringing something special to the bathroom. It’s no coincidence that the word ‘craft’ has been chosen here, as the bowl’s simple form and sculptural aesthetics are the result of a sensitive, manual manufacturing process. The bowl was designed by the experienced Potsdam designer Dominik Tesseraux in two sizes: 350 and 450 mm in diameter.

No matter which size you choose, or whether you choose elegant white or one of many other sanitary colours, in matt or an effect tone such as Midnight, Blue Satin or Forest – you are getting an object for your bathroom that will transform the entire room. Its conscious minimalism brings a calm and balance to the bathroom. The bowl has a soothing effect and is timelessly beautiful.

There is no doubt that longevity is an important factor when choosing bathroom fittings: we want to enjoy them for a long time and therefore choose things that last. In addition to its obvious formal qualities, BetteCraft also has a whole range of functional advantages: the glazed titanium steel used to make the bowl is almost indestructible as well as being easy to clean.

It can be placed on almost any surface, which makes it wonderfully flexible. And its elegant tapering at the top also serves a practical purpose as a splash guard. It’s no wonder then, that the design has already won over the expert juries of several leading design competitions. BetteCraft has already received the DesignPlus Award powered by ISH 2019, and the Red Dot Award in the Product Design category.
