Smart and simple: Grohe SmartControl

It’s often difficult to know what you’ll get with most showers, so they’re kept permanently secured to a precise point in the dial with users too scared to adjust them. Nudge one way or the other and they become - gradually - unbearable, with only an illusive middle ground.

Innovative and tech-savvy sanitaryware manufacturer Grohe, however, has developed its exclusive SmartControl system with the ability to control three separate spray functions in one simple and intuitive device. The Grohtherm SmartControl thermostat unit features three simple buttons - popping out when pressed to become ergonomic dials. With textured edges for optimal grip, once pressed the buttons make it possible for users to precisely turn up or down water volume, for the right feature, at the right time.

By controlling the volume of water in three separate functions, PureRain - a soft, refreshing shower, ActiveRain - an intense, focused spray and the Euphoria handshower - featuring additional volume control on the handle; and with all functions temperature-controlled via a larger dial below, users can craft their own bespoke showering experience with ease.

All functions are run by the same unit, itself featuring Grohe Turbostat technology. The unit reacts instantly to pressure changes in the water system, keeping the temperature consistent. Users of the Grohtherm SmartControl system can shower with confidence, creating their ideal experience, no matter what else is happening in the home.
