×The Warsaw Home Fair 2018 will take place between 4-7 October, welcoming thousands of attendees including international designers and architects, all coming to see the latest tech and trends in the world of interior design.
The international event will be open just to business representatives and members of the media on the Thursday and Friday (4-5 October), before opening to the general public across the weekend. Special guest speakers include design superstars such as:
Nika Zupanc
Slovenian designer of the Lolita lamp for Moooi, Nika Zupanc has become one of the most closely-watched designers at Milan Design Week, her work Love Me More, curated by Rossana Orlandi, was one of the standout installations of 2017.
Stefano Giovannoni
The iconic Italian designer has been the hand behind the pencil behind some of the most recognisable designs in product history including the Bambo stool (Magis), First chair (Magis) and the Mami kitchenware product family (Alessi). More recently Giovannoni has dedicated himself to the Qeeboo project, his own next-generation brand producing affordable, injection-moulded plastic furniture and objects.
Tom Dixon
British star designer Tom Dixon declined to exhibit at Milan Design Week 2018 this year while instead choosing to visit and launch products in more countries. His appearance in Warsaw signifies and confirms the event, the city, and the country as one of the freshest and most interesting new markets for international design.
Dixon will give a talk on ‘Strength!’ (Warsaw Home 2018‘s theme) on the Saturday, and will present his brand’s newest collection at the fair.
