For industry professionals as well as creatives, Cologne means not only the furniture fair but also the Design Post showroom – a permanent space for inspiration and conversation away from the exhibition halls.

×Each year, in January, the design world gathers in Cologne for the annual imm cologne furnishings fair. Around 150,000 trade visitors descend on the German city to talk business and kickstart the new year at its first major event for furniture and interiors.
One of the first ports of call for many of these industry professionals is the Design Post showroom, conveniently located directly opposite the Kölnmesse fairgrounds. Here, they are able to browse the latest products from more than 30 international brands in a setting that promotes collaboration between retailers, architects, interior designers, end-users and other stakeholders.

×Design Post has been a destination for creative professionals visiting Cologne since 2006. With over 3,500 square metres of floor space dedicated to presenting innovative design from around the world, the showroom founded by Willem van Ast and Paul van den Berg is now one of Europe’s premier multi-brand design spaces.
Although imm cologne and the Orgatec workplace-design event in October are important dates in the calendar, Design Post exists to serve the industry all year round. Its programme of product launches, meet-ups and lectures provides regular opportunities for networking, and Design Post’s expert, independent advisors are always on hand to talk about specific products or projects.
Design Post hosts regular networking events, as well as providing facilities for brands to organise their own meet-ups, product launches or workshops

×At a time when traditional retail is in decline, it is more valuable than ever to have destinations where products can be viewed, touched, compared and discussed. Design Post provides this service for the interior design industry, creating a permanent space for inspiration and conversation at the centre of Europe.
