Echoes of design history and contemporary innovation: Minotti’s 2024 Collection

The Minotti 2024 Collection of indoor and outdoor furniture demonstrates the Italian brand’s ability to balance form and function, memories of the past and dynamism of the present and future. This year’s renewed creativity, which embraces unexpected shapes, colours and details, is expressed through an international symphony of design voices, carefully orchestrated by the Minotti family, including Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, Nendo, GamFratesi, Inoda+Sveje, and the latest additions, Hannes Peer and Giampiero Tagliaferri.

What marks this eclectic collection is that modular furniture can be both a grounding foundation and a charismatic highlight of an interior. For example, the new Supermoon seating system by Giampiero Tagliaferri has a distinctive 1970s style capable of performing as a protagonist, whether arranged as multiples or as a stand-alone element. Modularity also characterises the new Yves modular seating system by Hannes Peer, available in five versions for different settings and tastes, that boasts eye-catching asymmetrical stitching details.

Other design highlights keep pace with the constant evolution of contemporary living through their adaptable personality and sculptural nature. These include the enveloping Vivienne family of seats by GamFratesi, the nest-like 70s-inspired Emmi armchair by Hannes Peer, and the sumptuous swivelling Pattie armchair by Giampiero Tagliaferri. While the interlocking geometries of the Nico dining table and Zoe bookcase – reproducing themselves in an original pattern in the Janis screen, all by Hannes Peer – complete the setting with various options for customisation.

Versatile and decorative forms extend from indoors to outdoors with the refined Trio armchair by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, naturally echoed in the Trio Outdoor version. Both the playful character of the Amii outdoor seating system by Nendo and the extensive flexibility of the Daylight outdoor seating system by GamFratesi offer multiple solutions for open-air living, all, of course, whilst flourishing independently with style and comfort.
