We often forget that the outdoors can truly be an extension of our living space; we build patios and terraces to extend the indoors, but we don’t always use them to their full potential. The Renson Aero Skye is a unique bladed roof that can be extended over a patio to make the outdoors feel like an integral and inseparable living space. The design combines the sheltered, protective feeling of being inside, with all the health benefits of the outdoors such as fresh air, light and closeness to nature.

Rain or shine, the Aero Skye is a flexible solution that can be tailored to suit any conditions. The aluminium blades can be easily tilted to control light and shelter. The optional integrated heating system makes spending time outside in winter, or at night when temperatures drop, possible.

This flexibility can be synchronised to our modern lives. The Aero Skye can be operated with just the tap of a button in the Renson smartphone app, while a rain and wind sensor can also be installed to automatically adjust the blades.

As well as practically expanding living space, the minimalist design won’t disrupt the beauty of the existing architecture. Numerous finishes are available and atmospheric lighting can bring a whole new atmosphere to the patio, elevating it from outdoor space, into a garden room.
