Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair kicks off 5-9 February 2019. About 700 companies gather to show the latest trends in furniture and lighting design.
The world's leading event for Scandinavian design - Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair draws approximately 40,000 visitors of which around 10,000 are foreign buyers, architects, designers and journalists from more than 100 countries. About 700 companies set up exhibitions in Stockholmsmässan’s 70,000 sqm. Around 80 percent of the exhibiting companies come from Scandinavia. From Tuesday to Friday the focus is on industry visitors, and on Saturday, the final day of the fair, the doors open to the general public. About 200 design events will also be held throughout the entire city as part of Stockholm Design Week.

×Several highlights at the fair include:
Guest of Honour: Installation by Chinese design and architecture studio Neri&Hu.
Stockholm Design & Architecture Talks: Forum for knowledge and discussions. The theme for 2019 is Challenges for the Future.
Greenhouse: The area for unestablished designers and design schools. Design duo Thau & Kallio, will design the Greenhouse Bar and Café as well as an exhibition under the direction of the Materials Library.
The Design Bar: Concept restaurant and exhibition by Norwegian design studio Anderssen & Voll.
Temperament: Exhibition that reflects on contemporary design and interior architecture, by Swedish set designer Sahara Widoff.
NM & - A New Collection: An exhibition curated by Matti Klenell, TAF Arkitekter, Carina Seth Andersson and Stina Löfgren, produced by Stockholmsmässan together with Sveriges Arkitekter and Trä och Möbelföretagen, TMF.
