Office work has changed rapidly in recent years and with it the design of workstations and environments. Classical structures are dissolving in favour of multi-space or open office concepts. Interiors play an increasingly important role in this context, not only must they be flexible, but must also adapt to individual needs. But regardless of what terms may be used for describing modern office concepts in the era of ‘New Work’, one factor which remains unchanged relates to how we sit and on what.

In the 1970s, the term ‘ergonomics’ became popular. Designers such as Americans Niels Diffrient or Bill Stumpf dealt intensively with the topic at that time and, with their designs, created the basis for a whole new market. Today, this market offers a wide range of options, including ergonomic, high-tech machines. For its office chairs, Trendoffice uses recycled materials that are 99 per cent recyclable. All models are made of black plastic. The only exception is to-sync work, which is also available in white. Anyone wanting to add a little colour to their everyday office life can do so quickly and easily. Trendoffice offers covers in six different colours for the models in the to-sync work and to-sync meet lines. This means that office chairs can be individualised according to the user's wishes or to match the existing design.
