Funivia Diffused Linear Suspension
Suspended lights from Artemide Architectural, Designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua
Product description
Funivia by Carlotta de Bevilacqua opens up new potential for freedom for light: the flexible lighting network overcomes boundaries and creates its own paths. Starting from a single supply point, it forms a network of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines that can be installed three-dimensionally in the room. The cable is used to distribute energy and acts as a supporting element. The individual components are attached and the current is collected via bridge elements that make contact with the poles via pins. If a luminaire is moved, the elastic and durable Kevlar polyethylene sheathing closes again. Each light can be controlled individually via the Artemide app.
Funivia is sustainable: the robust and durable cord can be rolled up small for transportation. And the fact that Funivia is fitted with existing luminaires from the Artemide collection is also a statement of environmental awareness and at the same time demonstrates the dialog and exchange between the architects and designers who work with Artemide.
