Product description

The very essence of bourgeois décor with a modern twist, the object as a mask, a technological jack-in-the-box. These are the ingredients of this highly symbolic armchair. The Richard III was created by Philippe Starck who, moved by the sight of battered old club armchairs abandoned in the street, decided to give them a new life. At this time, Starck was imagining President’s private apartment interiors in the Elysée Palace and the Richard III became President François Mitterrand’s favorite armchair. Armchair with completely molded structure in rigid structural polyurethane, painted with polyurethane enamel in matt black RAL 9005 (n) or metallic silver RAL 9006 (am). Cushion in expanded polyurethane and dacron. Dimension 93 x 82 x h 92 - seat h 41 cm
