Concept
Native to the Faroe Islands, the Salix Lanata is a shrub covered in a woolly down. It inspires a real masterpiece, a work that only nature can create. On the walls, a majestic design comes to life. Graceful foliage unfurls its leaflets. The plant is revealed in the random volume of the material and the softness of the natural colours. By the simple contrast of colours, the combination of matt yarns brings light to the design. A very fine warp thread fades to emphasize the particularities of the irregular weft thread. Sometimes fine, sometimes thicker, composed mainly of wool and linen, it offers great richness to the composition. Natural materials, patterns and colours harmonize in a canvas of great simplicity and beauty.
