Concept

Mexicans usually decorate their “tehuana”, a traditional garment for celebrations, with flowers. Lavishly embroidered, it is a real work of art with its bright colours and intricate patterns. This large all-over design is an interpretation of the abundant Mexican flora and fauna. The profusion of colours and the overlapping leaves, flowers and birds create a sense of exultation. This is expressed with the natural, matte finish of the straw-texture paper. Six cylinders are required for its production. TEHUANA is available in four contemporary colours plus a neutral. TEHUANA 7630 0406 is coordinated with the fabric PICO BONITO 4509 0324
