The Lampe Gras OUTDOOR collection progress to cope with natural conditions. From the mountain top to the coast, only Stainless steel 316 can stand up to the toughest environments.

316 stainless steel is highly resistant to corosion in even the most agressive natural environments, including proximity to the sea or to swimming pools. Composed of an alloy made from iron, nickel, chrome and molybdenum it is the material of choice for fitting out yachts.

The Lampes Gras XL OUTDOOR SEA range made in 316 Stainless steel is a very special collection. These lights don’t light up a wall, but are used to create a living area – like for example when they are placed over an outdoor table – and in the process go to create a natural extension to the interior.

The proportions of the Lampes Gras XL are scaled for outdoor use, in keeping with the facades on which they are placed.
Elegant without being arrogant, neither too large nor too small relative to the doors, windows and bay windows against which they are seen, the Lampes Gras XL Outdoor are practically invisible in daylight, coming into their own at night when they create a warm and welcoming glow.

When developing the solution, we worked with unpainted 316 stainless steel in its simplest form. There was a real pleasure working with such a pure, unadorned object. So we decided to use it in two models : No304 XL OUTDOOR SEASIDE and in the classic No304 OUTDOOR SEASIDE. We'll leave you to judge how good it looks when combined with a shade in plain copper !
