DS-344 flirts with the legendary era of de Sede. Extraordinarily loosely covered, the armchair embodies a lively leather experience.
The edges, on the other hand, look strict; with double seams in a piping look, on all sides, they create visual compactness.

With its emotional design, DS-344 gives the room a prestigious character. Whether in an elegant library, an executive office or in a living room, DS-344 makes clear style statements.

The leather armchair requires a lot of sophistication to manufacture.
The uniform leather upholstery as well as the strict edging call for the utmost craftsmanship – which the de Sede craftspeople deliver with their masterly skills.

Technically speaking, DS-344 is based on the already successfully established DS-343 armchair. Like its big brother, DS-344 is truly balm for the spine. With the seating surface extended up to the height of the pelvis, one moves backwards only from pelvic height when leaning back. This ensures an improved posture and prevents the shearing forces that normally occur. Thanks to an intelligent mechanism, the armchair moves along with the seated person, as if automatic. This creates unprecedented seating comfort.

Concept

The twin of DS-343

DS-344 is the twin of the armchair that reinvented sitting: same creators, same idea, just a little different in appearance.
This version of the armchair, which protects the pelvis and back, uses leather in a thinner version: a sustainable raw material that we use for comfort.
This makes the chair somewhat lighter, and its appearance and feel allow for further areas of application.
