Kyo Rect.

Mirrors from Deknudt Mirrors

Product description

89 x 2.2 x 129 cm
13.2 kg
Mirrored glass + wooden frame

Concept

With its burned wood appearance, the KYO mirror is a nod to the ancient Japanese technique Shou Sugi Ban. This technique was used to preserve wood by charring the surface with a hot flame. While being a very old method of treating wood, it creates a timeless look that is stunning in both modern and rustic settings. In addition to this XL version, Kyo is also available in a Hall and a Rectangular version. It can be made in customized sizes for one or more pieces.
