Air High Stool

Air is a very unusual design that eludes any definition as a typical stool. And the proof is if seen out of context, it’s hard to work out that Air is a stool at all. Avoiding the usual structure with legs and a seat Air looks like a singular volume inspired by architecture where the immaterial areas take on greater significance. In fact the inclusion of the voids balances out its expressive design lending lightness to the stool, both in terms of its weight and appearance.
