Concept

HILMA is a modern interpretation of the classic bentwood chair.
With shapes and curves inpired by Gemla classics Armchair Cattelin and Chair Wien, David Ericsson has created a comfortable and functional chair with a unique expression.

Backrest in solid bent European beech combined with a frame of hand welded steel. The powder coated metal is shaped with curved elegance as an homage to the traditional Vienna café chair.

Though created to endure public interior with heavy wear, the lightness and elegance makes HILMA just as suitable for the private home.

The stackable HILMA is a durable chair of high comfort.
A natural flex in the back and softly upholstered seat of hairlok and wool, dressed in vegetable tanned leather or textile.
The short armrest offers just enough support without ever being in the way, as well as creating a hanging function onto table tops.

Also available as Swivel chair HILMA Spinn.
HILMA is offered in different color versions.
