Hypnos Double Bed

Beds from Giorgetti, Designed by Umberto Asnago

Product description

A programme of double beds with the headboard frame in curved multi-layer poplar wood, veneer and solid walnut canaletto wood. The headboard, that has in the middle a padding in expanded polyurethane covered with fibre, can be purchased separately, because it can be fixed to the wall.
The bed frame, for slatted bases of 180 and 200 cm in width, in multi-layer and expanded polyurethane covered with fibre, has supports of the slatted base that can be regulated in height. The central crossbar is in painted metal with supports to regulate height to use single slat bases.
The removable upholstery of the headboard is quilted in fabric or in leather with stitchings.

Concept

A page for describing the deepest meaning of comfort, a page for drawing a design. The thin sheet of wood used for the Hypnos bed by Umberto Asnago is cleverly curved through expert craftsmanship. It's a structural, formal piece that can be also be fixed to the wall and to which quilted padding is attached, creating the most comfortable sleeping environment. Available in two sizes for bed bases of 180 and 200 centimetres, the bed frame is upholstered in fabric or leather, coordinated with the headboard.
