Product description

Armchair in solid ash wood available in four finishes: natural (fin.96), anthracite grey (fin.93), biscuit (fin.2P), ash grey (fin.2R), or in solid walnut canaletto wood. The padding of the seat is in flexible multi-density polyurethane, covered with fibre. The fabric or leather upholstery is technically removable.

Concept

Inspired by the style of the 1940s when designers were exploring the principles of ergonomics, Ludovica+Roberto Palomba have managed to include aesthetic and comfort-focused details, past and current styles, craftsmanship and technological innovation in a single piece of furniture, the Ripple armchair. Made from solid ash in various finishes or canaletto walnut, the armchair has a delicate line with a strong presence. The perfectly round seat is upholstered in leather or fabric, the back is a graphic shape that envelopes the body, a shape that industrial production methods can achieve only thanks to Giorgetti's expert cabinet-making skills, which constantly balance craftsmanship with technological innovation.
