AAC 121 SOFT
The AAC 121 Soft counterbalances the more formal expression of the aluminium swivel base
with the softness and warmth of the quilted shell. Retaining the same high backrest and generous
seat that characterises the series, this design features a functional base with legs that fan out
from the centre. The base is available in polished or powder-coated aluminium, and the quilted
shell is offered in a variety of upholstery options, providing a multitude of design combinations
that give this series versatility in a wide range of corporate, public, and private contexts.

Concept

With the objective of supplementing HAY's iconic AAC chair series with a softer, more organic expression, the About A Chair Soft features the softness and warmth of the quilted shell, whilst retaining the fundamental mission of creating a connected family of chairs based around one simple, strong idea. Available in a variety of interchangeable base types in wood, aluminium or steel and numerous upholstery options, the AAC Soft series is a versatile and functional collection suited to a wide variety of domestic, office, and public settings.
