Wall coverings / wallpapers from ISIDORE LEROY, Designed by Yann Lacroix
Product description
Yann Lacroix built this set like a palimpsest, by putting side by side and superimposing several plant motifs from photographs of his travels and artistic residences such as in Tunis, Madrid and Bangkok.
He wanted the name Exploration to be conducive to creativity and serenity, to inner adventure and to that of the eye. After a first visual impact, the gaze sails through the landscape and discovers little by little the details. By confronting different levels of treatment: transparent, blurred and realistic, the painting appears to be covered with an ambiguity about the place and the moment. Thus, by this space of interpretation left vacant, the viewer enters, appropriates the panorama and discovers what he was not looking for.
