Dandy has been something of a design experiment for Alexander Lervik. “I wanted to create a chair in a way I never have before – a chair that would be easy to move around in various environments, but one that would also offer the utmost in comfort. In order to achieve this, I realised that we would have to come up with different solutions that didn’t involve using wooden seats or the like. The result is a chair made from thin tubing with an inner seat of webbing and feathers, then draped with a cover in fabric or leather,” says Alexander.

Concept

Dandy is a chair that is easy to handle and yet offers optimum seating comfort. The cut-outs on the top corners of the backrest not only give Dandy its unique identity, but also contribute to the chair’s practical functionality.
