Mechanically pre-tensioned constructions satisfy both functional and aesthetic requirements. While providing shelter from heat, sun and rain, they also attract attention by their unique architectural designs. For instance, our awnings are, available as classically shaped awnings with a stable, three-dimensional bent saddle shape – that is created by four corner points forming the awning's high and low points. This basic shape can be varied and expanded by a linear anchorage system that runs the length of a bent substructure. A variety of geometries, such as main point membranes, arched roofs, multi-point sails, funnels or combinations of these geometries, can be generated from these two basic principles.
Concept
