Contract tables from Kusch+Co, Designed by Norbert Geelen

Product description

Concept

san_siro – the name says it all.
Football fans knows this name too well: “San Siro” is the original name of the Milan Football Giuseppe Meazza Stadium named in honour of this two-time World Cup winner. Kusch+Co chose this euphonic name for its new table series as the new table tops with the matching frames have an exceptionally bold, creative design language with this stadium in common. One table top closely resembles the typical stadium layout.

Series san_siro, Design by Norbert Geelen. Its inspirational design language and vast range of variations give a new impetus to contract furnishing.

Creative top shapes.
Next to the range of standard tops, for instance, rectangular, square, round, ellipse, trapezoid and barrel, series san_siro mesmerizes with novel, bold top designs. For instance, the asymmetric tops are inspired by the irregular shape of a pebble.

A vast range of frames.
Though a universal talent on its own, san_siro is also an excellent team player. The multitude of table tops is matched by a vast range of table frames – made of solid beech or metal and even a blend of metal brackets and solid wooden legs.

The tubular steel column frame with its flat aluminium pedestal profiles is real eye candy. The column has an optionally bright chrome or satin chrome finish; the pedestals are either polished or chrome-plated. Large table tops are supported by a twin column frame. Large round tops even by a quadruple column frame.

Series 6000 san_siro is of extraordinary versatility: the mobile, folding table on castors is available either with a fixed frame and an integrated lever or with a central handle activating the patented Kusch+Co mechanism already tried and tested with series 9000 roll’n’meet. The mechanism is designed to have the pedestals synchronize with the swivelling tops making them turn inwards. In this position, the tables with folded-down tops may be space-savingly stacked in echelons, making them ideally suited for the flexible uses in multi-purpose rooms, such as conference and meeting rooms or training classrooms. Kusch+Co produces both folding table series with rectangular, barrel, elliptic and stadium-shaped tops with generous dimensions up to 180 x 80 cm.

Signature design feature of series 6100 san_siro is the slender silhouette and the solid beech legs, showcasing Kusch+Co’s long-term experience as contract furnisher with the aesthetic design language catching the eye. The table tops rest on the organically shaped stretcher bars which seamlessly merge with the legs.

This series’ construction is well-thought-through, leaving nothing to chance. The asymmetric pebble-shaped top has a matching frame, not unlike the ‘kidney tables’ popular in the 50s, coming in different dimensions.

Kusch+Co also presents a new frame blending metal brackets with solid beech legs, available at affordable prices. The brackets are fitted underneath the top for optimum stability. The legs are optionally available in walnut or oak, all home-grown lumbers.

Tailored to your needs.
With its vast range of tops and frames, series san_siro is ideally for a plethora of environments. From conference table in meeting rooms to office desk. From coffee table or occasional table in lounges to stand-up tables in the lobby. Stand-alone tables may be linked to complex table configurations by addition or linking.

Contract and office tables.
All top shapes are available in many different materials and thicknesses. You may choose among a HPL, linoleum or genuine wood veneer finish. Tables may be individualized and customized by choosing among the extensive range of lippings, not forgetting the project-related power and data solutions.

Superior craftsmanship.
Quality is irreplaceable. Coined 70 years ago, this mission statement is still the cornerstone of Kusch+Co’s corporate philosophy. Series san_siro is the convincing proof that this Sauerland-based manufacturer of high-quality contract seating lives up to its standards. ‘Quality made in Germany’. Design and finish reflect their passion for wood as working material.
