The immediately eye-catching appearance of the Tisti Cabinet is created through intarsia – a technique of inserting differently colored and shaped pieces of wood (ash and elm are used for Tisti) so that they form a pattern or image in a larger wooden surface, for example, a tabletop or a drawer front.
