cappello
Table lights from molo, Designed by Stephanie Forsythe, Todd MacAllen
Product description
Concept
cappello is a modest tribute to Achille Castiglioni, his brother Pier Giacomo and Ingo Maurer, designers that molo admires for the way they found inspiration in everyday life to create designs that move the heart. Lit by LED, cappello is shaded by a little paper cap (cappello in Italian) and set upon a Carrara marble core. The marble base is an artefact of design history, a byproduct of making the base for Arco, the legendary lamp designed by the Castiglionis in 1962.
