textile softwall acoustic room divider may be ordered in any custom colour, from sunshine yellow to midnight blue and every Pantone colour in between. Shades of yellow are often translucent, allowing the volume of the space partition to softly glow as sunlight touches its surface. Other colours are usually opaque, creating an effective privacy screen. When stored compressed, the folding wall shrinks to the thickness of a book. From its condensed state, it expands to an impressive 15 feet (4.5 meters) long or any length between. the moveable wall can be spontaneously arranged as a room divider and acoustic partition to absorb sound and establish privacy or to create a striking backdrop for an event or performance. As a modular system belonging to the molo soft collection, each softwall + softblock has magnetic end panels that connect these flexible building blocks to create longer partitions and immersive, sculptural installations. made from layers of textile structured with flexible honeycomb geometry, the walls are a new building material. They relinquish notions of rigid space-making in favour of sustainable design to accommodate change over time and encourage responsible material use. recognized for elegant design and innovation, softwall is held in the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection and is the winner of the prestigious Danish INDEX Award for design to improve life.

stability
The folding rounded end panel design of softwall gives stability to the freestanding partitions while creating a sense of infinity and sculptural continuity with a never-ending pattern of vertical lines.

material
The textile is made from nonwoven polyethylene. It is UV stable, anti-static to repel dust, tear-resistant, and easily cleaned with soap and water. Textile softwall and its paper sibling are 100% recyclable; both have been welcomed into Google Portico’s catalogue of healthy building materials.

colour

portable folding wall
