Concept
The Pantonova seating was originally designed and produced as part of the Panton design for the funky Varna restaurant in Aarhus, Denmark – the epitome of the 70’ies vibe with its lavish, psychedelic shapes and vibrant colours.
Later the Pantonova sofas continued its notoriety by starring in the James Bond movie, The Spy Who Loved Me, seating
the evil shipping tycoon, Karl Stromberg.
The design of the Pantonova modular seating is still iconic
and holds endless applications in a contemporary context
such as lobbies, receptions, lounge areas and retail spaces
– not to mention, in the private living room of design aficionados.
