As with its chair counterpart, the Cover Lounge Chair by Danish designer Thomas Bentzen exemplifies a simple, clean and characteristically refined expression.
Hinting towards archetypical design and Scandinavian traditions, the Cover Lounge Chair is a sophisticated take on a timeless form. With a sturdy oak frame and ingenious wide and curved backrest that stretches into armrests, the Cover Lounge Chair has an inviting expression through extensive comfort and a strong ethos while taking up only little space in the room. Using a unique combination of materials as its aesthetic reference point, the Cover Lounge Chair is created with careful attention to details through the slender veneer and wood with the covered armrests.
With its high level of comfort, the Cover Lounge Chair works well in spaces that serve the purpose of socializing, whether it be private homes, workspaces, lobbies or co-working areas. The design comes in various colors as well as with an upholstered seat in either textile or leather, allowing for customization to any home or professional space.

“The Cover Lounge Chair came from a desire to create a comfortable lounging design in wood that was at once modern and timeless whilst deeply rooted in the traditions of Scandinavian craftsmanship. Shaping its backrest, seat and armrest covers in a form-pressed veneer made for a crisp and contemporary expression, paired with the elegant sentiments of its base in solid wood. The Cover Lounge Chair has a large, embracing seat while taking up little space in the room, joined by a refined yet durable appearance.”

Concept

By combining the ideals of Scandinavian craftsmanship with a modern design language, the Cover Lounge Chair has a simple yet refined expression. The design features a grand seat while taking up little space in the room, complemented by its unique details of curved back, wooden armrest covers and slightly curved seat for any private or professional space.

The Cover Chair Series without upholstery is EU Ecolabel Certified. By carrying the EU Ecolabel Certification, the product is guaranteed to have a reduced environmental impact throughout the total lifecycle of the product from raw material to disposal.
