Land ottoman

With the LAND chair, designed by Naoto Fukasawa, Plank has widens its Outdoor collection. A design distinctive for its pure lines, it seeks to balance the relation between form and character, expression and fluidity. LAND is a lounge chair made with rotational plastic mould technology. It was born to serve as an outdoor seat, but its sober and elegant design makes it suitable for indoor uses too. The low, slightly inclined seat promotes a relaxed posture with outstretched legs and supported back. At the same time, it provides the feeling of sitting in a sports car. Ideal for indoor and outdoor applications, including lounges and waiting areas.

The Land Lounge Chair is an upholstered lounge chair. The seat of the chair is made of fire-retardant cold foam and is available with a cover in fabric, imitation leather or leather.

The LAND ottoman is a plastic stool available in the colours black, white, basalt grey, signal grey, traffic red and yellow green. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and serves as a side table for the LAND lounge chair

Naoto Fukasawa’s newest project for PLANK has a personality of its own, conceived both to complement LAND lounge chair and to be an accessory to other furniture items.
The aim of the project consisted in creating a strong and impactful yet essential geometry while simultaneously minimizing the making process.
TO side table embodies Naoto’s design philosophy at its best with its essential demeanour.
T-shaped columns and an O-shaped top and base defined the table design. All the steel plates are 4mm in thickness, displaying a bare structure. A simple form that blends into any scene and fits multiple purposes, being unpretentious and striking at the same time.
