Obi

A leather strip runs through each furnishing accessory with the elegance of an obi on a kimono. A system that is versatile and ideal for creating relaxing spaces in the sleeping area. Obi is a complete and adaptable storage system specifically designed for the bedroom. Two 2-drawer bedside tables, a capacious dresser and a seven-drawer chest. Each piece is a precious item. The front of the drawers is completely upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System and padded with shape-hugging polyurethane foam. The original strip knobs are also in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System with interior reinforcement and decorative vertical stitching available in both tone on tone or contrasting colours. Each drawer is mounted along soft-close metal tracks. The frame of each piece is made with medium density fibre panels and the back is in panels of rough wood. Two versions of the Obi system are available: Polished with cream-coloured scratch-proof paint and in wood with cut Brown Walnut veneer. Both versions feature cream-coloured anti-scratch finish for drawers and in grey anti-scratch finish for the solid beech-wood feet. Each Obi piece can be topped off with a small elegant mat in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System with interior reinforcement in plastic and a light padding in polyurethane foam. The tone on tone stitching along the edges lends a refined decorative effect.
