Product description

The Vanity Fair XC Imagine Edition armchair is produced in a limited edition of 50 individually numbered pieces and upholstered in printed Pelle Frau® leather featuring Fornasetti's Sole e Nuvole motif. Each armchair is delivered with an exclusive leather clutch, a signed certificate of authenticity, and a special Vanity Fair XC leather keychain. The supporting structure is made of seasoned solid beechwood. The padding uses both hand-modeled vegetable horsehair and gummy horsehair, and the seat cushion is filled with goose feathers, with an insert of expanded polyurethane to maintain its shape over time. The seat, backrest, and armrests are equipped with a suspension system obtained with hand-tied biconical steel springs fixed on jute straps. A row of leather-covered nails finishes the back and sides of the armchair. The upholstery is in Pelle Frau® Impact Less, digitally printed with a slightly embossed effect. A gunmetal finish plate with the Fornasetti x Poltrona Frau logo and serial number is applied to the back of the backrest.

An icon of Italian design and a flagship product of the company, the Vanity Fair XC is the reissue of a classic, and in this new special edition, 'Imagine Reality', born from the collaboration with Fornasetti and inspired by Poltrona Frau's '2024 Imagine Collection', it is capable of surprising us once again.

A sun and a moon rise from a whirlwind of clouds, decorating the entire surface of the armchair. A dreamlike, mysterious, and surreal image in Fornasetti's typical style, drawn from its historical archive and developed specifically for Poltrona Frau. A tribute to the power and freedom of imagination.
