Minima is a collection of wooden seats characterized by weighted details and a rigorous profile. The variant with the upholstered seat represents a comfortable yet essential and elegant alternative, designed for the intimacy of domestic spaces but also for ambitious contract projects. The welcoming design and soft shapes give shape to a piece of furniture that combines Potocco’s masterful woodworking skills with care in upholstery making.

Concept

Minima is the new chair entirely made out of wood, designed by Mario Ferrarini, developed from the idea to create a welcoming and robust object with fluid and energic lines. It is a reassuring project in its precise and accurate vision that stand out for its thoughtful details and rigorous profile. The plywood of the seat and the backrest is designed following a sinuous harmony and the legs in solid ash wood are worked to accommodate the backrest thanks to an elegant twist that enhances the light effects and the refined workmanship typical of Potocco, emphasizing the company’s masterful ability to work with wood.
