Concept
Dialog is an elegant, free-standing bench and rubbish bin. The bench is made of heat-treated ash and stands on stainless legs. The rubbish bin is delivered with a concrete base.
The DIALOG series softens the often harsh outdoor environment. The use of diagonal symmetry recurs as a theme in the products. DIALOG planting box is the latest addition to the series, and forms a trio together with DIALOG bench and waste container, which were awarded The Norwegian Design Council Award for Design Excellence in 2010.
The commitment of Norwegian designers Hagerup and Smette to rounder, more organic forms has resulted in a new addition to the range. The DIALOG sorting bin (45 litres) has clean lines and can be used singly or together. Placing the bins back to back creates an elegant sorting system. The lids can be labelled with the waste type and lacquered in custom colours and contrasts.
